This year's Cracker Night set a new record - unfortunately for inches of rain fallen during the event! Despite almost continuous torrential rain a surprising number of people did turn out to see the lights turned on and to enjoy some late night shopping with local traders.
Dorchester's Cracker Night 2004 was the most successful ever. The combination of cold but dry weather and huge crowds of visitors who had come to see the new lights turned on for the first time made it a night like no other and definitely not one to be missed.
