Alistair retains his title

Dorchester Town Crier Alistair Chisholm has successfully defended his British Championship in a tough competition in Cheshire.

He beat 29 other town criers from across Britain to take the title for the second time in a row and the fourth time in all.

Alistair is absolutely delighted to have won again for Dorchester. One of his two competition cries was based on Dorset's other famous Hardy, Admiral Thomas Hardy, the captain of Admiral Nelson's flagship at the battle of Trafalgar.
